From September 7 – 10 of this year, Hurricane Irma swept through Cuba from east to west. Ten lives were lost and there was much devastation to land and property. The Cuban government said that tourism sector would be fully restored in time for the tourism season which starts in November. Most tourism destinations are now up and running, ready to welcome the tourists back to Cuba.
