Latest luxury hotel in Havana: The GRAND ASTON la Habana.
Archipelago International announced the opening of its latest hotel in Cuba, the GRAND ASTON La Habana.
Towering over the Malecón in the Vedado neighborhood of Havana’s commercial district, the Grand Aston is close to offices, shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Spaces for business meetings and special events are available.
The GRAND ASTON La Habana is a modern luxury hotel offering 600 rooms, exquisite dining, and plenty of entertainment in its nightclubs La Zorra y el Cuervo, the Yellow Submarine, and the Cabaret Parisien.
Grand ASTON la Habana offers superb wellness facilities, a 24-hour fitness center, and a 56-meter swimming pool overlooking Havana Bay. The Spa by Ubud offers exotic Asian healing treatments and Balinese technique massages.
Archipelago is Southeast Asia’s largest privately owned and independent hotel operator. The company manages 3,000 rooms in Cuba, found in five (at present) hotel and resort projects on the Island. Those properties include the GRAND ASTON La Habana, the ASTON Panorama Hotel, the Grand Aston Varadero Beach Resort, the ASTON Costa Verde Beach Resort in Holguin, and the GRAND ASTON Cayo Las Brujas Beach Resort & Spa in Cayo Santa Maria.
John Flood, President & CEO of Archipelago, said, “We’re delighted to be opening what will become a true icon in the Havana hotel scene. One of the most creatively designed hotels is ready to welcome guests to experience the fusion of Asian and Cuban hospitality in a fantastic location.”
