Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs to Visit Cuba

Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chrystia Freeland, will make a working visit to Cuba on August 28, 2019.

The Minister will meet with her Cuban counterpart Bruno Eduardo Rodríguez Parrilla.

The Ministers will continue discussions on the crisis in Venezuela and the potential for Cuba to play a positive role toward a peaceful resolution. The two ministers will also discuss the United States’ decision to end the suspension of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act.
