The sun sets on El Morro Fort, Havana.
From May 1 to 5, the 41st edition of Cuba’s international tourism fair, FitCuba 2023, returns to Havana. The city is a title holder of the Wonder Cities of the Modern World’s nominations, granted in 2016, by the Swiss foundation “New7Wonders.”
This year’s theme for FitCuba 2023 is Culture and Heritage, featuring Havana as a destination. Cuba will welcome guests of the event at the Fairgrounds in the Morro-Cabaña Historical Park (El Morro fort).
This annual industry fair is the most important professional event for international tourism companies and those working in the sector. Cuba’s Ministry of Tourism and Cubatur sponsor and organize the activities.
Each year, Havana receives thousands of tourists from all over the world who come to enjoy its cultural and historical delights that make Cuba so unique.
Companies such as Ecotur, Gaviota and Iberostar, and others, will be present during the first days of FitCuba 2023. On May 5, the event opens to the general public.
