Paseo Del Prado La Habana to Open This Year

French hotel company Accor is planning to open the doors to its new luxury hotel, the SO/ Havana Paseo del Prado Hotel, this September.

Located at the corner of the famous Malecón and del Prado boulevards, the new five-star luxury hotel is designed in the shape of a boat and offers 10 floors of 250 rooms and suites. The new Paseo Del Prado Hotel houses one restaurant and three bars (Lobby Lounge Mixo, HI Nice Lounge and the Chocolateria), has wifi access, an infinity pool, business and spa and wellness services.

This prime location hotel is right in the center of Old Havana. From the rooftop offers it offers incredible views of the Malecón, the sea, and the entrance to the Bay of La Habana.

Most of historical Havana’s top sites and attractions are within walking distance of the hotel, including theaters, museums, and shopping.

The Paseo Del Prado Hotel is owned by the Gaviota tourism group and will be managed by Accor’s SO/ brand of hotels in France. Accor’s SO/ is the first of the company’s SO/ hotels in the Americas. Accor Hotels already manages two hotels on the Island, the Hotel Mercure Sevilla in Havana and the Pullman Cayo Coco Resort.
