Cuba’s REX car rental agency, a division of TRANSTUR, has added Mercedes-Benz vehicles to its fleet of luxury brand cars for rent. Joint venture MCV Comercial S.A. announced the delivery on its Facebook page.
Founded in 1994, MCV Comercial S.A., is the Cuban distributor for Daimler AG, owner of the Mercedes Benz brand and MTU Friedrichshafens GmbH from Germany. MCV Comercial became became a fully Cuban capital company in 2009.
On May 14, MCV Comercial delivered four Mercedes-Benz C 180 cabriolets and two Mercedes-Benz C 200 sedans to REX rental car agency.
MCV Comercial S.A. and MCV Servicios S.A., will be responsible for maintenance, repairs and 24-hour emergency service available from their network of car service locations throughout Cuba.
The statement from MCV Comericial S.A. said that MCV Comercial S.A. and REX rental company combine their efforts and professionalism to honor the Mercedes-Benz brand slogan, ‘the best or nothing.’
MCV Comercial S.A. also sells products for Mitsubishi FUSO (Japanese), FOTON (Chinese) and RANDON (Brazilian) brands, with whom they hold agreements.
The Company has a network of MCV Servicios S.A. dealerships and service centers across the Island located in Havana, Matanzas, Santa Clara, Camagüey, Cienfuegos, Holguín, Moa, Pinar del Río, and Santiago de Cuba.
TRANSTUR car rental offices can be found at Cuba’s airports and throughout the country and offer a full range of vehicles for hire from the economy to luxury price range.
