Cuba’s 24th International Agro-industrial Fair FIAGROP 2023 began today with aspirations for new business investment, increased agricultural production, and exports.
From March 20 to 26, visitors will communicate in business forums, evaluate new possibilities for business, and take part in product sales exhibitions at the Rancho Boyeros Exhibition fairgrounds in Havana, one of the oldest in Cuba.
FIAGROP will offer guests presentations on new foreign investment opportunities in the agricultural and animal sector.
Over 24 firms from countries such as Mexico, Italy, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Armenia, Nigeria, Denmark, and Panama will meet with Cuban companies.
The Minister of Agriculture, Idael Pérez Brito, and the First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, Ana Teresita González Fraga welcomed participants.
Fifty-four Cuban companies will exhibit at the Agro-industrial Fair FIAGROP, representing the business management agencies of the Ministries of Agriculture, the Food Industry, and the AzCuba business group.
