JetBlue’s Cuba flights launch August 31 for the low price of $99 one way
JetBlue announced their new flights to Cuba starting August 31, 2016. Flights will start as low as $99 one way in an effort to lower the price of flying to Cuba and offer quality services at the same time.
“It’s a new day for Cuba travelers and one we have thoughtfully prepared for,” said Marty St. George, executive vice president commercial and planning, JetBlue. “We are proud to usher in a new era of Cuba travel with affordable fares and great service.”
JetBlue will be offering three routes between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to the Santa Clara– Abel Santamaría Airport (SNU) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday flights beginning August 31, 2016. On October 1, 2016, JetBlue will begin with daily flights into the Camagüey – Ignacio Agramonte Airport (CMW).
Following this, on November 3, 2016 they will also fly into the Holguín – Frank País Airport (HOG).
JetBlue’s flights begin at $99 one-way and will include Cuban government-required medical insurance coverage. JetBlue flights are now available for purchase for passengers who meet the U.S. Government 12 travel classifications. Cuban tourist card and the correct Cuban visa are required.
