The bilateral relations between Cuba and Russia continue to flourish. Foreign Ministers Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla and Sergey Lavrov, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation signed a Political Consultation Plan yesterday at the United Nations headquarters in New York City.
The document plan outlines cooperation in international, regional and bilateral issues and the strengthening political dialogue between the two nations.
The Consultation Plan was signed by Mr. Rodriguez and Mr. Lavrov at a special signing ceremony.
The special ceremony was also attended by Cuban Ambassador Rodolfo Reyes Rodríguez, Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, and other officials of Cuba’s Permanent Mission.
Other agreements between the two nations will also be signed on trade and bilateral relations, one of the most recent being the accord between BioCubaFarma and the Skolkovo Center to export new Cuban pharmaceuticals to the Russia.
