Thousands of cigar lovers from around the world will flock to Havana to participate in the annual Habano Cigar Festival. This 23rd edition takes place from February 27th to March 3rd.
The Habano Cigar Festival is an exclusive event dedicated to premium cigars throughout the world is attended by thousands of cigar smokers, aficionados, experts, and professionals from over 110 countries. It offers a host of fascinating activities, galas, workshops, presentations and visits to cigar plantations and factories.
This year is special because it is the celebration of the Montecristo, Bolívar, and Partagás cigar brands.
The Club Habana hosts opening night’s Welcome Evening and will feature the Montecristo and Línea Open cigars.
Habanos S.A. will launch its new products at the trade show. Other luxury brand companies will exhibit their products and cigar accessories of the year in the show where more than 270 exhibitors from 10 countries are present.
A mid-week event in the El Laguito Protocol Room will celebrate the Bolívar and La Casa del Habanos brands and Habanos S.A.’s 121 years of history.
Also on this week, the Habanos World Challenge offers cigar aficionados the opportunity to show their knowledge and mastery of the different stages of Habanos cigar making.
During the week, expert Habanos sommeliers will teach masterclasses on the cigar-making process, as well as offer opportunities for tastings and pairings with different products.
The week-long festival will include visits to the Partagás and La Corona cigar factories and plantations in the Vuelta Abajo zone in Pinar del Río.
As with every year, the Habanos Awards Ceremony and the Humidor Auction will take place with proceeds going to Cuba’s public health system.
The Habano Cigar Festival will wrap up the weeks with a magical gala evening dedicated to Partagás to be held on Friday, March 3rd, at the Pabexpo Convention Center.
